This past weekend was PAX East (America's biggest gaming convention), and there were multiple debuts from Game/AI bloggers.
Damian Isla, the founder of this blog, is too modest to promote his own company's game on his own blog, so I'll do it for him! Moonshot Games announced their awesome looking, and awesome playing, co-op side-scroller Fallen Frontier. All of Damian's wisdom about occupancy maps, knowledge representation, and scripting has been put to good use, complemented by a nice implementation of boids and a slick 2D skeletal animation and ragdoll system.
Meanwhile, in the GAMBIT Game Labs booth, I debuted a new experimental game called Improviso, which pairs players online on a film set to create a low-budget sci-fi movie. More info in this press release and blog post. Download Improviso and play today!
And finally, friend of Game/AI, Borut Pfeifer showed off his team's very cool-looking upcoming action strategy game, Skulls of the Shogun.
